Facilities
The Blue Bell is a 19th Century canalside pub converted from two small cottages, and so facilities are somewhat limited - but we do our best!
No Smoking
With effect from 1st July 2007, smoking is banned in all enclosed public places, but here at the Blue Bell we have been completely smoke-free since 3rd January 2006.

Food
We serve a small selection of filled rolls on Saturdays and Sundays, and we always have available a range of snacks, with crisps, nuts, pork scratchings & mini cheddars etc.

Wines
We have house wines by the glass (150 ml and 175 ml), and also a small range of single-serve (187 ml) bottles, including Californian Cabernet Sauvignon, Chilean Merlot, Australian Shiraz, Californian Chardonnay,  and others.

Soft Drinks & Hot Drinks
For the driver or non-drinker we have a good range of drinks, please click here to see the full range.  (opens in new window).

Meeting Room
The “back room” of the Blue Bell seats about 16-20 people and is available for use on  most weekday evenings (Tues - Thurs), except when in use by pre-booked groups.

Dogs
We like dogs and welcome them with well-behaved owners, but please keep them under control (dogs and owners!)

Car Park
This is situated at the rear of the pub and will accommodate about 25 vehicles if people use it sensibly. Please do not park in front of the pub or inconvenience our neighbours by inconsiderate parking.
And another thing ....... we don’t mind you leaving your car overnight but we would appreciate it if you would let us know first.  Also, when collecting your car the next day, you may find the car park closed with the chain across.  After undoing the chain please don’t drive over it, then kindly replace the chain afterwards.  Sorry to go on about this, but it does stop all and sundry leaving cars there and taking up genuine customers’ parking spaces.
