Blue Bell Ramblers
This is an informal group of regular customers who organise a regular walk, usually on the first Sunday in the month.  It may involve coach travel or may start and finish at the pub.  The walk is usually 6 - 8 miles in length and the finishing point is almost always a pub!  The starting time tends to be about 10 a.m. and the idea is to arrive back at the Blue Bell by about 4.30 p.m.  Details about the next walk will be found on the wall in the corridor leading to the toilets and back room, as well as on this page.

2008 Walks

At a meeting of regular walkers at the Blue Bell on 4th December 2007 the following schedule of walks was suggested for 2008.  The start time for trips involving coach travel will be 10.00 a.m. from outside Kidsgrove Workingmen’s Club.  Local walks may have a later start time, which will be advised when the walk is advertised.  All walks will usually be on the first Sunday of the month.

 

Deposits will not be requested for the coach trips, but anyone who has signed up and is then unable to attend is asked to give fellow walkers the courtesy of calling the Blue Bell or the walk organiser to cancel.
